In general, thyme tincture is useful during the autumn-winter season – it has a nourishing effect on catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, chronic bronchitis, flu, bronchopneumonia, bronchial asthma, lung inflammation with mucus secretion. Soothes dry and spastic cough in spastic bronchitis. An excellent nervine and antispasmodic agent for stomach and intestinal diseases, such as chronic gastritis, ulcers, colitis, flatulence, and headaches. Thyme can be used as an analgesic agent for diseases of the muscles, joints and peripheral nerve vessels. Avoid taking thyme in case of pregnancy.
